ABOUT SENIOR COMPANIONS SCOTLAND
Senior Companions Scotland was started after our MD was unable to find companionship for her mother after her father had to go into care. Working full time meant that her mother was on her own most of the day and this was less than ideal. From this dilema, Senior Companions Scotland was born.
WHY CHOOSE US
In choosing Senior Companions Scotland you are choosing a team who care strongly about helping you stay independent for longer. Our team have all worked with families either as volunteers or paid carers. Our team have been where you are.
OUR APPROACH
To ensure our clients have trust and confidence in the
service we provide, it is very important that we have the correct information. In order to build that special relationship
between a client and their companion, we like to make sure we completely
understand our client’s requirements. Building
a picture of the nature and level of service that will be required.
To enable us to offer a service that is tailored to the client,
we undertake an initial assessment with the client and including where possible
a family member. This allows us to
obtain the necessary details of background and the present situation to enable
a personalised service plan to be created.
Once the assessment has been completed, we can then confirm
the type of service that is required and the best times to visit.
